A fantastic introduction to mindfulness that will give you the opportunity to try practices and learn how mindfulness can help to calm the busyness of the mind.

The workshop will cover: what mindfulness is, how to connect with the present moment through awareness, using mindfulness to calm the busyness of the mind, using mindfulness in daily life and in stressful situations. Participants will try different mindfulness meditations which can be practiced during and after the session.

This workshop is a great place to start your mindfulness practice. It will be suitable for beginners and those seeking some guidance to expand a home practice. Meditations will be fully guided so no experience is necessary. 

We meditate on comfortable chairs, however, if you wish to sit on a floor cushion, you are welcome to bring one along.

There will be time for tea with questions and discussion following the session.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend the workshop, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the workshop date. Any cancellations received with less than 7 days notice will be considered on an individual basis. Where there is no waiting list for the workshop, a refund may be possible (at the discretion of The Well Nest). It may also be possible to transfer your booking to an alternative workshop of equivalent price.
