Our mind has a lot of bad habits…responding to challenges with unhappiness is one of them.
When we find life throws challenges at us, we often make our own situation more difficult by responding with unhappiness. Unfortunately, being unhappy about something doesn’t help us deal with life’s challenges at all; it prolongs our difficulties.
On this workshop you will learn how to stop the learned and habitual responses to difficulties and challenges that often leave us stuck in a rut of rumination. Happiness is a state of mind that can be cultivated through mindfulness techniques bringing the energy and joy back into life. A truly beneficial workshop that will leave you with renewed enthusiasm and the tools to cultivate a brighter outlook.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced practitioners. Meditations will be guided so no experience is necessary. We will meditate sitting in chairs, so no equipment or special clothing is required.
This is a morning retreat where we will have time for tea, questions and discussion during the session. Do something for yourself…
Cancellations: If you are unable to attend the workshop, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the workshop date. Any cancellations received with less than 7 days notice will be considered on an individual basis. Where there is no waiting list for the workshop, a refund may be possible (at the discretion of The Well Nest). It may also be possible to transfer your booking to an alternative workshop of equivalent price.
